Artificial Intelligence is profoundly changing our world. It saves time and money, improves medical diagnoses, and enhances product quality. However, AI also replaces jobs and intrudes into private lives, making us vulnerable to malicious attacks.

Everything seems to be changing at once. There are dozens of new AI tools and news every day. We can’t take the time to examine how they will affect us. Because soon they will be obsolete. Even AI experts are surprised by this pace.

So, where is our world heading and how can we know that? We need reliable insights into how AI works and how it will change the real world. The AIR Challenge Program

The AIR Challenge is an Aristolo research program for thesis writing students. Each thesis examines a topic of personal interest in a real-world context. A context is an area of life in which humans operate to achieve specific goals like business administration, education, workplace, recruiting, scientific research and many more.

We research questions such as:

  • What changes in context XY can result from the use of AI applications? (impact analysis)
  • What are the risks of using AI applications in context XY? (risk analysis)
  • What are the opportunities of using AI applications in context XY? (potential analysis)
  • What factors influence the success of AI applications in context XY? (success factor analysis)

How is it possible to give answers in a thesis when even today’s top AI experts refuse to make predictions?

How an AIR Thesis Project works

An AIR Thesis Project meets the academic requirements of your university. The scope and depth of the analysis are designed to be manageable within a bachelor’s or master’s thesis.

An AIR thesis project consists of the following four phases:

  1. Selecting a topic within a context
  2. Defining the focus of the thesis with a leading question, objective, and task
  3. Planning the thesis project with a detailed proposal and coordinating it with the supervisors
  4. Conducting the analyses and writing the thesis text
